Reports from Aso Rock villa in Abuja on Wednesday, May 3 are that for the third time in a row, President Muhammadu Buhari was absent at Federal Executive Council meeting. The Cable reports that in the president's place is Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Gistracks had reported earlier that President Buhari was expected to preside over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which holds today, Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
Mr. Buhari was also absent during FEC meeting last week. Then, Mr. Mohammed said the president was taking the day to rest and work from home.
“All is now set for Mr President to preside over tomorrow’s (today’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council. I can confirm to you very strongly that Mr President will be at the Council Chambers for FEC meeting tomorrow (today),” the report quoted a source as saying.
